If you have been recently informed that the IT Department is going to activate multi-factor authentication on your account then depending on when you joined the company you may have already configured it. You can use the steps below to check.
Instructions
- Sign-in to your gen3marketing.com Work or School account here: https://login.microsoftonline.com, then go to the My Account Portal: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/
- Now, either click Security info on the left-hand menu, or click Update Info under the Security info tile.
- Next, depending upon the method you have used to sign-in to your gen3marketing.com account, you may see a screen asking you to Approve a sign-in request. You should receive a notification on your mobile device asking you to Approve sign-in? Tap this notification and follow the instructions on-screen and on your mobile device to authenticate.
If you are unable to use the Microsoft Authenticator app to approve the sign-in request, click I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now. This will present you with other options to Verify your identity, such as receiving a text message.
If you are still unable to verify, please contact the IT Help Desk using the contact details below, where we will be able to reset your authentication methods. - If you have successfully verified, you will then see the Security info screen. This will show you the sign-in methods that have been setup for your account. Assuming these are still correct, then you will be able to sign-in when MFA is enforced on your account successfully.
On this screen, you will also be able to add more sign-in methods, simply click the Add sign-in method button highlighted below, then follow the instructions to add another sign-in method.
