Gen3 Marketing UK offer Wired / Wireless Internet access to it's employees based in our Plymouth office to access the internet on their own devices.
Setup
If you are accessing the network using a device which has an Ethernet connection, plug the network cable into your device. You will then be redirected to the captive portal shown below. If your device supports Wi-Fi, in your list of available networks, select the network named Gen3 Marketing. Once your device has successfully connected to the network, you will be redirected to the captive portal shown below;
Select the Gen3 Marketing Employee Login option, then you will be presented with our Acceptable Usage Policy;
Once you have read the Acceptable Usage Policy and are happy to accept the terms. Select the I accept the terms option. You will then be redirected to the Microsoft Login screen;
From here, sign-in using your Gen3 Marketing email address and password. Once you have successfully logged in you will see the following screen notifying you that network access is being enabled;
Once the network access has been successfully enabled, you will be redirected to the Gen3 Marketing website. This will indicate that you have been successfully connected and will be able to use the internet on your device.
Incompatible Devices
If your device is incompatible with the above, you will be able to register your device to access the network using a random generated password (PSK). To do this, you will first need to find the MAC address of your device. This will be retrievable from the device settings. Once you have found the MAC address, visit the following URL: https://packetfence.uk.internal.gen3marketing.com/status/login and login using your Gen3 Marketing email address and password.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will see a screen similar to the following containing a list of your registered devices as well as a WPA Wi-Fi key;
Note the WPA Wi-Fi key as you will need this once you've registered your device. To register your device, click the Register another device button. You will then see the screen below, enter your devices MAC address and click Register.
After clicking Register, you will return to the registered devices screen. If you device was successfully registered, you will see a message like the below at the top of the screen;
You can then proceed to connect to the network. To do this, find the Gen3_Devices network in your available networks and use the WPA Wi-Fi key to sign in to the network.
